So, I ran across another photographer's site and he mentioned having a Tumblr blog and I thought that sounded like a spectacular idea!  I've been spending so much time (while I should be working, tsk tsk) roaming DA and Flickr learning about new film processes and falling back in love with the low-fi style of shooting.  The new Tumblr site makes it easy for me to post images (always with credit and links back) that inspire me to keep forking over big bucks for processing.

Next, I'm going to have to break down (save up) and get a decent film scanner.  Mine crapped out ages ago.  And, at about $20 per roll for decent scans when processing, it's kinda expensive.  I figure, a $200 scanner would pay for itself in 20 rolls.  (The math was easy.)

I have to say that I am so irked.  I'm warning you now that I'm about to complain.  

I posted this photo of on July 17.  Since then, I've received 18 comments.  She posted it later that day and now has 202 comments.  It's really fucking irritating.  And, it's the same old story.

I don't know why it is that my gallery gets so few comments.  Do models get more because you all want to get in their pants?  Seriously.  It's frustrating.

Then again, maybe it's just something about my work that prevents people from posting.  I say that because my other photographer friends on here get bazillions of comments.
